01 / Dentistry
I hold a BDS from Bristol and an MJDF from the Royal College of Surgeons. Over the last three decades, my career has spanned both general and cosmetic dentistry. Alongside running my own practice, I also currently work at Harley Street Dental Studio.
Wherever I practise, I have learned that good dentistry goes far beyond simply treating teeth. It is really about the person sitting in the chair. My goal has always been to make you feel confident, comfortable, and genuinely cared for from the moment you walk through the door.
I know that dental visits can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming, which is why I never rush our conversations. I believe in taking the time to talk through every single option with you, weighing up the pros and cons honestly. You should always feel like an active partner in your dental care, making informed choices, rather than just being someone on the receiving end of treatment.
After nearly 30 years in the profession, I wanted to create a space that reflects exactly how I believe dentistry should be delivered. That philosophy is why I founded Harmoni Dental here in Kingston upon Thames. It is my own practice, built entirely around open communication, trust, and ensuring you receive the very best care in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

02 / Technology
I'm a full-stack engineer who does machine learning properly, which means I can take an idea from a notebook to something people actually use: the model, the API around it, the web and mobile apps on top, and the cloud infrastructure underneath.
My ML grounding runs from logistic regression through to transformers, with convolutional networks for computer vision along the way. During the Covid lockdowns I built an AI symptom checker and report builder. Today that work lives on in Harmoni Hub's AI agents and smile preview tool, running on my own open-source agent library, tenxagent.
The product side is just as hands-on. Back ends in PHP with Laravel, Python with FastAPI, and Node. Front ends in Vue and React, and mobile apps in React Native: the Harmoni staff app for admin, compliance and HR, with a patient app on the way. I deploy to AWS (EC2, Lambda and container images in ECR) and DigitalOcean, so a model never stops at a demo.
I test like it matters, because in healthcare it does. Laravel projects ship with PHPUnit feature suites, Mockery and Laravel Dusk browser tests, kept tidy with Pint and run locally on Sail. Python services run on pytest, with pytest-asyncio for async APIs, httpx for endpoint tests, moto to stand in for AWS, and mypy for type checks.
Now I build with AI agents every day. The years before that are why it works: I know what a sound data model looks like, where systems break, and when generated code is confidently wrong. Agentic coding makes me fast. Experience makes the result robust.

Patient enquiry capture, video reports and CRM for dental practices. Practice websites embed its widgets to capture leads and book appointments, while AI agents and a smile preview tool work behind the scenes.
AI tooling for dental practices, built by a dentist who got tired of bad notes. Smart Notes turns the conversation in the surgery into structured, compliant clinical records.
The Harmoni team's own app: admin, compliance and HR in one place, so the paperwork side of running a practice lives on staff phones rather than in a filing cabinet.
A patient app for Harmoni Dental, now in development: appointments and messaging with the practice, in your pocket.
Built when surgeries closed during the Covid lockdowns: an AI symptom checker that asked patients the right questions and built a structured report from their answers. A TensorFlow/Keras model served from a container image on AWS Lambda.
My own Python library for building and composing AI agents, built on Pydantic. It powers the agents inside Harmoni Hub.
An embeddable assistant that handles patient enquiries, symptom checking and cosmetic lead capture around the clock.
Booking and content platform for a London cycling school. A ground-up rewrite of the 2019 Laravel/Vue system I originally built: course booking with timed seat holds, Stripe payments, instructor progress tracking and a full CMS.
03 / Voice
A London-based tenor equally at home in opera, crossover and musical theatre. I've sung for royalty at the Royal Palace in Oslo, at the St Petersburg Philharmonia alongside Sarah Connolly, and signed with Sony BMG in 2008 to record classical versions of the pop songs I love.
I also wrote and perform a one-man show about the 1950s singer and film star Mario Lanza: an hour of drama and the songs that made him famous.
